The Table layout displays data in a traditional row-and-column format. This layout is ideal for presenting detailed lists that require clear organization, such as course catalogs or user reports. Administrators have full control over which fields are displayed and can enable users to sort and filter the data directly within the block.
Additionally, the Table layout supports data portability, allowing users to export the current view into common spreadsheet formats for offline use.

Available settings in Fields preferences
Selecting the Table layout enables specific configuration options within the Fields preferences:
Hide the table content β When enabled, the table itself is hidden from view. This is useful if you only want to provide export buttons for a cleaner interface.
Export data β Enable this to provide users with buttons to download the table data in CSV or XLS formats.
Enabled fields β Select the specific columns you want to display. You can drag and drop these fields to rearrange the column order.
Note: The specific fields available for selection are determined by the data source assigned to the block.
