The Appearance section provides granular control over the look and feel of the Dash block. These settings allow you to adjust colors, add backgrounds, and define the block's physical dimensions to ensure the content matches your site's branding.
You can find these settings by opening Configure block.
Available settings
Show header – Choose whether the header is visible or hidden.
Block width – Set the horizontal width of the block as a percentage of the available space.
Hide when empty – Choose whether to hide the entire block if no data is displayed.
CSS Class – Add custom CSS classes for advanced styling.
Background image – Upload an image to be used as the block background.
Background Position – Choose where the background is focused.
Options: Initial, Left top, Left center, Left bottom, Right top, Right center, Right bottom, Center top, Center center, Center bottom, Custom
Background Size
Available options for background size are:
Auto – The background image is displayed in its original size.
Cover – Resizes the image to cover the entire container (may crop edges).
Contain – Resizes the image to ensure it is fully visible within the container.
Custom –Allows you to enter a custom CSS size.
Background gradient – Define a color gradient to apply to the background.
Font color – Set the primary text color for content within the block.
Show border – Choose whether the block's outer border is visible or hidden.
Border Value – Define the thickness and style of the border using CSS (e.g., 1px solid #ccc).
Minimum height – Set a minimum vertical size in pixels for the block to ensure consistency.
