Skills comes with a set of capabilities that control who can view, add, or manage skills and point configurations. To get an overview of the capabilities and see which roles they are assigned to, go to Site administration > Users > Permissions > Capability overview.
Important: Permissions control who can see and manage skill settings and points. You should only adjust capabilities if you are familiar with Moodle's permission system and understand the impact these changes can have on existing roles and workflows.
Available capabilities
tool/skills:manage
Allows users to access the skills management dashboard to create, edit, or delete site-wide skills and level criteria.
tool/skills:managecourseskillslist
Allows users to enable and assign skills on activity or course completion.
tool/skills:viewotherspoints
Allows users to view the skill progress and point rankings of other users on the platform.
