Our outdoor and pool bean bags are crafted using premium solution-dyed Olefin fabric, specifically chosen for its excellent durability and resistance to fading in outdoor conditions.
Light Fastness Testing & Standards:
Tested to ISO 105-B02 and AATCC TM16 standards using xenon arc light to simulate sunlight.
Rated Grade 7–8 out of 8 for color fastness to light.
Meets or exceeds Australian Standard AS 2001.4.21 for outdoor textile performance.
🌞 What That Means for You
Our fabric is designed to resist fading for up to 1,000 hours of direct sunlight exposure. However, as Australia receives 2,500–3,500 hours of sunshine annually, we recommend following the care instructions provided to extend the life and appearance of your bean bag.
Proper care = longer life.
Always store your bean bag out of direct sunlight when not in use and ensure it's clean and dry before storing.
