The Knowledge Base does not accept file uploads. You cannot attach a house manual, a rules PDF, or an inventory spreadsheet. Information has to be added as text.

Go to the listing page, open Add to Knowledge Base, and use the + button at the bottom to add your text.

This is the part that catches people out. Besty analyses each note before accepting it, and it struggles badly with large blocks of text. Paste an entire FAQ document or house manual into a single note and the analysis will often spin without ever completing, so nothing is added at all.

Break the information down into small notes, roughly one fact each. "Checkout is 11 AM" is the right size. Three paragraphs covering checkout, parking and the wifi is not.

This also makes the results better rather than just faster. A note containing several statements often has one part accepted and another rejected, which leaves you with partial information and no clear indication of which part survived.

For a large amount of information across many properties, our team can load it for you.

Send a CSV or Excel file to support@getbesty.ai with the listing name in one column and the information in another, and we will bulk-upload it on the backend. This is much faster than working through the interface note by note, and it is the recommended route when you are onboarding a portfolio.

If you are not sure how a document should be broken up, send it over and we will advise on the structure before anything is loaded.

There is no need to copy in content your PMS already holds. Listing descriptions and automated messages are already read by Besty, so duplicating them here creates two places to maintain and two things that can disagree with each other.
