In Fleet management you can manage all your vehicles. The vehicles can be added to tours in the “tour plans” page. This is needed for load balancing so the system knows the maximum and minimum borders for the tours when you want to load balance or need to load balance.
In Fleet management you can see all your created vehicles in a list. You can add as many vehicles as you want or need.
How to add a vehicle?
To add a vehicle, click the “Add vehicle” button. The tool will then display the screen shown above.
First, enter the vehicle name in the blue box. You can name it, for example, “Sprinter” or “Ducato.”
Next, select the appropriate vehicle class. For a long van, select “Sprinter (Long)”. For an electric vehicle (EV), select “E-Sprinter.”
Next, review the parameters in the orange box, including the maximum range, maximum load volume in cubic meters, and maximum weight capacity of the selected vehicle. Keep in mind that an EV may have a lower load capacity than a standard Sprinter.
Then, choose how many vehicles you want to create. You can create a single vehicle or up to 20 vehicles at once, depending on the number of tours you have.
Finally, click “Create” in the bottom-right corner. The selected number of vehicles will then be created.
After clicking “Create,” you will be redirected to the Fleet management main menu. Here, you can see the vehicles you created in the previous steps.
In the case that you want to change something in the setting of your vehicle group you can click on the three dots in the yellow box. You will then see the same mask as above and can change the setting again. You can also delete the vehicles from there if they are no longer in your fleet.
