In Better Planner, you can view the change history for tour plans at any time and revert to a previous version if needed.
1. Accessing the Change Request History
To review past adjustments:
Navigate to the Depot area.
Click on your initials in the top right corner to open the advanced settings.
Select Change Request History.
In the overview, under the Type column, you will see two categories:
Activation Request: Refers to the activation of a completely new tour plan.
Change Request: Refers to adjustments made to an already active tour plan.
The Decided column shows the exact date and time the change was applied. This is often useful information when troubleshooting something that did not go according to plan, or someone activated a change accidentally.
2. Reverting Changes
Depending on the request type, follow the appropriate procedure:
Option A: Reverting an Activation Request (New Tour Plan)
If a brand-new tour plan was activated and you want to return to the previous state:
Go to the Subcontractor section and select Tour Optimization.
Click on Tour Templates.
Select the previous tour plan that you want to reactivate.
Note: If unwanted changes were subsequently made to that template, you can clean them up via the Version History (see Option B)
Option B: Reverting a Change Request (Existing Tour Plan)
If adjustments were made to an active tour plan that need to be undone:
Go to Edit within the Subcontractor section.
Open the Version History.
Select the version where your tour plan was still correct and restore it.
(You can also use this method if manual adjustments need to be corrected after an Activation Request.)
Need an even older version of the tour plan?
If the version you want to restore is too far in the past and no longer visible in the history, please contact our Support Team. In most cases, we can manually recover older states for you.
