Resetting Your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) | Secure Access to BetterTracker

Learn how to reset your two-factor authentication in BetterTracker if you've lost access or need to reconfigure your device.

To Reset While Logged In:

  1. While in Account Settings, locate the 2FA section.

  2. Step 1: Click the Reset icon.

  3. Enter your current password when prompted.

  4. Step 2: Click Proceed and Reset.

  5. Step 3: Configure your new 2FA:

    • Scan the QR code with your authentication app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.).

    • If you cannot scan, click Can’t Scan to copy and manually enter the code into your app.

  6. Enter the verification code generated by your app.

  7. Click Validate to confirm.

  8. Save the new recovery codes securely.
