Using the Kindle App for Your Reading Goal with BetterYou

Reading from the Kindle App? BetterYou is ready to log this to your reading goals.

How do you read on Kindle?

I read from the Android phone that I have the BetterYou App. downloaded on!

  • Your reading time from the Kindle App should log automatically in BetterYou. The App is classified and ready to count toward your reading goal.

I read from the Kindle App on an Android tablet

  • The BetterYou App is not designed for Android Tablets. If you're reading from this device we recommend using the Logging Progress Manually feature.

I read from my primary iOS (iPhone) device that I have the BetterYou App downloaded on!

  • Option 1: Your reading time from the Kindle App should log automatically when you do the iOS Screen Time Screenshot Process for BetterYou. The App is classified and ready to count toward your reading goal.

  • Option 2: If you don't like the iOS Screen Time Screenshot Process you can instead log your reading time via the Logging Progress Manually feature.

I read from an iOS device (iPad, iPod) or MacOS (Mac, Macbook) that isn't my primary iPhone with the BetterYou App!

  • Option 1: Your reading time from the Kindle App should log automatically when you do the iOS Screen Time Screenshot Process for BetterYou. This does require you have "Share Across Devices" turned on in Screen Time Settings on your primary iOS device. The App is classified and ready to count toward your reading goal.

  • Option 2: If you don't like the iOS Screen Time Screenshot Process or wish not to share your screen time across your iOS devices you can instead log your reading time via the Logging Progress Manually feature.

I read from a Kindle device or other e-reader.

  • BetterYou is not setup to auto log any information from a separate e-reader device like a Kindle reader. You'll need to log your reading time via the Logging Progress Manually feature.
