Beventi allows you to create variants of products. This simplifies the process of selling multiple versions of the same item (for example, a T-shirt with different sizes). You can also create variants for books (for example, a book with a model on the cover or a book without a model on the cover) or other products.
Creating Product and Book Variants
Follow these steps to create variants.
If you’re creating book variants, add the book under “Titles” and save the new title. If your book already exists in titles, you can skip this step.
Navigate to “Products” and choose “Add Product.” If you want to add variants to an existing product, click “Edit.”
On the product details screen, scroll until you see “Variants,” and click “Add Options.”
In the “Option Name” field, enter the name for the variants you will offer.
For example, for shirt sizes, you would enter “Size,” or for different book cover variants, you might enter “Cover Style.”In the “Option values” fields, enter the specific options you will offer customers. For example, if your “Option Name” is “Size” your “Option Values” will be the sizes you offer (likely something like Small, Medium, and Large).
Add the prices you will charge for each option in the “Price” field.
Add the inventory for each option if you are tracking inventory for the product.
Hit “Save” at the bottom of the screen.
Now, you can add your product and variants to an event order form and edit the specific order for an event so you don’t oversell.
