A shipping zone is a group of destinations that share the same shipping rates.
For example, if you charge the same price to ship anywhere in the United States, create one United States zone and add your rates to it.
Destination Types
Shipping zones can cover:
Entire countries.
Specific states or provinces.
Specific postcodes or ZIP codes.
Rest of world.
Use more specific zones when a destination needs different pricing from the rest of the country.
Match Priority
Beventi uses the most specific matching zone first:
Postcode or ZIP.
State or province.
Country.
Rest of world.
This means a Rest of world zone only applies when no more specific zone covers the buyer's destination.
How to Create A Zone
From your Seller Portal, open the order form you want to edit.
Go to Shipping.
Open the shipping profile you want to update.
Select Create zone.
Enter a zone name, such as "United States", "Europe", or "Rest of world".
Choose what the zone covers.
Select the countries, regions, or Rest of world.
Select Create Zone.
Add at least one rate to the zone.
Create A Country Zone
Use a country zone when every buyer in that country should see the same rates.
For example:
Zone name: United States.
Destination: United States.
Rates: Standard $5, Express $15.
Create A State Or Province Zone
Use a state or province zone when part of a country needs different shipping.
For Example:
Zone name: US West Coast.
Destination: United States.
Regions: CA, OR, WA.
Rates: Standard $8.
Create A Postcode Or ZIP Zone
Use a postcode or ZIP zone for local, regional, or remote-area pricing.
Examples:
10001 for one exact ZIP code.
SW1a* for postcodes that start with SW1A.
10000-19999 for a numeric ZIP range.
Postcode and ZIP zones are checked before state and country zones.
Create A Rest Of World Zone
Use Rest of world to cover every destination not already covered by a more specific zone.
Open the shipping profile you want to update.
Select Create zone.
Name the zone "Rest of world".
Choose Rest of world as the zone coverage.
Select Create Zone.
Add the rates buyers should pay for destinations not covered elsewhere.
Rest of world should be treated as its own catch-all zone. Do not rely on it to fix a specific country zone that has missing or invalid rates.
How to Edit a Zone
Open the shipping profile.
Find the zone you want to edit.
Open the zone menu.
Select Edit.
Make your changes.
Select Save.
Re-check validation after editing.
Deleting a Zone
Open the shipping profile.
Find the zone you want to delete.
Open the zone menu.
Select Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
Deleting a zone also removes the rates inside that zone. Buyers in those destinations may no longer be able to check out unless another zone covers them.
Best Practices For Zones
Start with the countries you ship to most often.
Add Rest of world if you want broad international coverage.
Keep zone names simple and recognizable.
Use specific postcode or state zones only when the price is different.
Make sure every zone has at least one rate.
Run Test countries after changing zones.
