Schedule times use the event's local timezone. Set the timezone for the venue, even if you are organizing the event from somewhere else.
Check the event setup
When Confirm when your event runs appears, enter the event's dates and hours and select Event timezone. Save these details before building the schedule.
For each item, choose a Day and enter the start time. Add an end time when readers need to know how long it runs. The time controls include AM/PM, so check this when entering morning and evening sessions.
Use a different day or an open end
Choose Another date to use a date outside the event's usual day choices. This can be useful for a related activity on the day before the main event. Review any health finding about an item outside the event dates.
Choose Open ended for a come-and-go item without a fixed end. If a chosen end time falls on the following day, the editor shows Ends the next day. Check that this is intentional.
FAQ
Should I enter times in my own timezone?
Enter the time at the event. For a 10 AM session at the venue, use 10 AM in the event timezone.
Why can I not schedule a release yet?
A future release needs an event timezone and a valid future release date and time. Confirm the event setup first.
What should I check after changing event dates or timezone?
Review every item's day and displayed time, the health findings, and any queued release. Do this before publishing further changes.
