You can prepare a draft schedule and choose when it should first go live. The release time uses the event's timezone.
Queue the release
Open publishing for your draft schedule.
Choose Schedule for later.
Enter a future Release date and time.
Check Who can view.
Choose Schedule release.
The schedule shows that a release is queued, with its intended release time.
Keep preparing the program
You can continue editing before the release. The release publishes the schedule as it stands when it goes live, including changes made after you queued it. Review the program and its access settings before that time.
Change or cancel the release
Choose Review release to inspect the queued release and change its settings. Use Cancel release if it should no longer go live at that time. Publishing immediately cancels the queued release.
FAQ
Can I schedule a future update to an already-live schedule?
The scheduled-release flow is for a draft schedule. Publish updates to a live schedule using Publish changes.
Why is the release action unavailable?
Check the event timezone and make sure the selected release time is still in the future.
Will the release email readers automatically?
No. Scheduling or publishing the program does not email readers. Once it is live, use Broadcasts to send an update if needed. A scheduled program release and a scheduled email are separate actions.
