Embed your schedule on your website

Create a website embed or share link and understand how publication and access affect it.

A schedule embed displays your published program on your own website. It updates when you publish changes, so you do not need to replace the embed for each program update.

Create the embed

  1. Publish the schedule first.

  2. Open Embed from the schedule.

  3. Check the preview.

  4. Choose the Theme, Accent colour, Background, Corners and Height (px).

  5. Choose Start on day, or leave it on Automatic. Automatic starts on today during the event, otherwise the first day.

  6. Decide whether to show search and filters and the event header.

  7. Copy Embed code into your website's supported code or embed area.

Use Simple iframe if your site supports iframes but not the script embed. Use Link when your website or social page only accepts a link. The script embed adapts to the screen on phones.

Check public access

Visitors in the embedded schedule are not signed in to Beventi. For a publicly viewable program, set Who can view to Anyone can view and include public items.

If all items are restricted or private, there may be nothing for a public embed to show. Changing the embed's design does not change access rules.

FAQ

Why does my website show the old program?

Confirm that you published the changes, then reload the page. Saved working edits do not replace the published program.

What does “Embedded on” measure?

It reports recorded embed loads by website. Loads are not a count of unique readers or proof that someone attended.

What if my website removes the embed code?

Use a supported HTML/embed area or the share link. Website builders differ in which code they accept.
