Prompts in Beyond Chat

Save time with prompts: templates for recurring tasks, curated or created by you.

Written by Thore Dücker

Prompts are templates for recurring tasks. They save you time and deliver consistent results, whether you use curated templates or create your own.

Overview and categories

In the prompt overview you'll find four sections:

  • All Prompts: the complete overview of all available prompts

  • My Prompts: prompts you created yourself

  • Public Prompts: prompts that were shared with you

  • Pre-Built Prompts: templates curated by Beyond the Loop for common use cases

Around 150 curated prompts are available to you right away. Use the search or filter by category to find the right template. Click Show More to see the full description and a preview of the content.

Pinning favorites

Use the bookmark icon (top left) to pin your most important prompts. They then appear at the very top of the overview and are one click away.

Creating your own prompts

There are two ways:

  1. In the prompt overview, click Create New at the top right

  2. Or save a chat input directly in the chat with Save Prompt

A complete prompt consists of:

  • Title: a name that clearly describes the use case

  • Category: choose an existing category or create a new one

  • Short description: purpose and benefit in one or two sentences

  • Prompt content: the actual text with all instructions

Working with variables

Tip: Put the changeable parts of your prompt in double curly braces, for example {{product name}} or {{target audience}}. When you open the prompt in the chat, jump between the variables with the Tab key and adjust them.
