The Notes tab within a contract (vendor) centralizes approval communication in Billy. This feature allows users to log contract-specific notes and send email notifications to other Billy users on the account, facilitating an in-app approval process.
Let's explore how this approval process works in Billy.
Approval requests begin with an email from Billy that looks like this:
Subject: [First Name] Sent You a Note.
From: "Your Company Name" <Sender Signature>
Talk to your Admin to find out what your Sender Signature is. These details can be found in Settings > Team.
Click View Note or the blue link below to navigate to the Notes tab for the contract (vendor) on the project that you need to review.
Next, navigate to the Coverages tab to find the requirement in question.
Click the arrow to the right of the requirement name, then click View next to the first document you see, as that is the most recent document and the one related to the approval request.
You will land on the Evaluation tab in the review screen to review as needed.
Click Internal Notes (second tab at the top) to respond to the request, click Save & Send Email, select a recipient, and click Send.
