Event Information

Add/Edit Event Information, Event Contact / Location, Dates & Times, Create Vanity URL, Event Name

The Event Information section of the Event Dashboard is where the following information is configured:

General

To navigate to the General Information section of the event, click on "Event Information" and then select "General" as shown below:

Event Name

This will be displayed in the header of the Event Site, as well as in all communications from the event (email) and invoices. If you choose, you can hide the event name and information from your header by viewing your site and selecting the Theme Editor:

Vanity URL

All BirdEase sites will have the URL "https://birdease.com/ followed by your event number. You can use the Vanity URL field to customize your event's URL. We recommend keeping it concise and easy to remember, and avoiding dates or years that would require annual updates. This allows Registrants to navigate your site year-round more easily and remain indexed within search engines such as Google.

Social Media Links

You will find fields for several different social media platforms that you can link to your site. Links will be displayed on the footer of each page if using the Horizontal Template, and towards the bottom of the left-hand sidebar if you choose Left-Hand Navigation:

QR Code

When scanned, the provided QR code will direct people to the event site's homepage:

Location & Contact

While still in the Event Website tab, select "Location & Contact." You will find fields for the location and contact information:

Dates & Times

The third tab, located under "Event Information," is "Dates & Times."

Here you can add multiple dates to the event, as well as the time of event happenings (Registration Opens, Event Start Time, Auction Begins, Cocktail Hour, etc.).
