What is a Vanity URL?
A Vanity URL is a comprehensive (human-readable) URL for your event. By default, your event site will be https://birdease.com/{EventId} with {EventId} being the ID of your event (i.e., birdease.com/5555).
A Vanity URL will replace the Event ID in your URL with whatever you want. An example would be https://birdease.com/golfclassic.
Setting A Vanity URL
To set a Vanity URL for your event, navigate to Event Information > General.
Find the Vanity URL input and enter your desired value.
Shorter the better
We highly recommend that you don't include the year of your event. This way, the URL remains the same for your registrants year after year.
Please note that you cannot use special characters or spaces when creating your Vanity URL.
