Golfer Settings give the Event Manager the ability to customize input for each registered golfer/attendee. To find Golfer Settings, click on Registration and then Golfer Settings.

Total Golfer/Participant Cap

Enabling the Total Golfer Cap will allow an Event Manager to moderate the amount of golfers/attendees allowed to register for the event. Once the Total Golfer Cap has been reached, all registration items that include golfers will be automatically marked as “Sold Out.” This will ensure that the event is not over-sold.

Golfer/Participant Label

Altering the Golfer Label allows the Event Manager to change how their registrants are classified. If you’re running an event on BirdEase that isn’t a golf tournament, you might choose to change the label to “Attendee,” or another applicable label.

Golfer/Participant Group Size

The Golfer Group Size lets the system know how many individual attendees comprise a full group. For example, if your golf format includes foursomes, then your group size would be 4.

If an Event Manager is running another kind of event, such as a banquet or gala, they might set the Group Size to 10 for a full table of 10 attendees.

Golfer/Participant Questions

Golfer Questions allow an Event Manager to customize what is asked of each golfer during the registration process. Each question can be set to one of these three states:

Do Not Ask

This would not be collected for the participant/golfer

Optional

This would prompt participant/golfer for this question but not make it required

Required

This would make the participant/golfer enter information before continuing in the process.
