Issue Refund/Void
To issue a refund click the three dot menu in the last column of the transaction table for the transaction that needs to be refunded and click the Details option.
In the modal that opens up, click the "Void Payment" or "Refund Payment" button at the bottom of the modal. That will open up an input to enter a reason for the void/refund as well as a submit or cancel button.
When issuing a refund you will also have an input to enter the amount if you would want to do a partial refund.
What is the difference between void and refund?
A void is when the credit card company has not sent the money to your merchant account. Payments can be voided only on the same day the transaction happened.
A refund is after the credit card company has sent funds to the merchant account. If there are not enough funds in the merchant account, BirdEase Payments will attempt to pull the refund from the connected bank account.
View Transactions
The table will list all transactions within the date range selected. To change the date range selected, change the drop down in the right hand corner right above the table itself.
