For BirdEase Payments users located in Canada, you'll need to log into your account at cardpointe.com in order to view and manage your transactions. If you're unsure of your login information or are having issues logging in, you can contact us at help@birdeasepro.com or give us a call and follow the prompts for BirdEase Payments Support, and we'll be happy to help.
Once you're logged into your account, follow the steps below to issue a refund or void a payment:
Navigate to the Reporting tab from your Dashboard. This will show a list of your transactions.
Click on the transaction number to the left of the payment you want to refund.
A new screen will populate with a refund or void option.
If the payment's status says 'Batched' (this means the payment has been paid out,) the 'Refund' button will populate and you can issue a partial or full refund.
If the status says 'Captured' (this means the payment is still processing,) the 'Void' button will populate. Payments can be voided only on the same day the transaction happened, and essentially "cancels" the payment before it can be processed.
