The carer feed is the equivalent of the client feed but focuses solely on the caregiver's needs and visits. This feature allows you to centralise and log carer-related information in one place including notes for compliments, complaints and more.
This feature will further support your auditing workflow when it comes to auditing at the care professional level for visits, reports alerts but also more broadly such as evidencing the care professional is Well-Led to the CQC.
Within the Carer Feed, you will be able to see:
Visit logs associated with this specific care professional
Alerts that have been raised for or are associated with this specific care professional
Notes to record non-visit information such as compliments, complaints, and third-party interactions and more
Actions to view and prioritise any actions related to this individual care professional
How to locate the Carer Feed
Go to the Team tab and click on the carer you wish to view. The Carer Feed is located on the left-hand menu and will be the second option directly under Basic info.
How to view Visit logs in Carer Feed
Within the Carer Feed, you can click on any visit card you would like to get more detail on. You will be able to see the visit details, client, alerts, activities, observations and timeline of this specific visit.
Details shows all the details such as check-in and check-out time, total visit time, client location and more.
Alerts gives you the ability to see all the alerts that have been raised during this specific visit.
Activities page allows you to see the tasks and medications that have been completed on the visit
Observation includes any observations that have been logged during this specific visit, such as care recipient’s mood, toilet visits, drink and fluid intake and more.
Care team page shows the carer assigned to this visit and any preferred care professionals
How to view Alerts in Carer Feed
Within Carer Feed, you can click on any alert card you would like to get more detail on. Once in the specific alert card, you will be able to see the alert details, any comments that have been added, and a timeline which will include an audit trail of changes to this alert.
When you click on Details, you can see all the details associated with this alert, including status of the alert, category of the concern, severity of the concern, and privacy settings.
Under Comments, you will be able to see any existing comments as well as have the ability to post a new one if you would like.
What are ‘Notes’ and how do I create them?
Notes allow you to record non-visit information such as compliments, complaints, and general interactions - and more!
To add a new one, click Add new note located at the top centre of the screen and select the note types from the drop-down menu.
There are 6 types of notes:
Complaint
Compliment
General notes
Introduction
Check-in call
Audit
Once you have selected the note type, you will be able to record the detail of the note itself. You will also be asked to add a Title, which is mandatory. You can also add any further details you would like to describe and give context to the note. Click Save when you are done.
If you would like to make a change to the note, click on the relevant note and the Edit button will appear at the bottom of the page.
How to view Actions in the Carer Feed
On the Carer Feed, you will also be able to see any Actions associated with this individual care professional. You can click into any action card to get more detail. Once in the specific card, you’ll be able to see the action details, status, who it's assigned to, as well as a timeline of this specific action. You'll also see any tags it's been tagged with.

What are Filters? How can I filter through the Carer Feed?
On the Carer Feed you will see ‘all results’ by default however you will also have the option to click into each of the specific categories (Alerts, Visits, Notes). But if you would like to find more specific results, you can use additional Filters.
To use even more filters, click the + More filters button. This will pull up an ‘Advanced filters’ screen.
Here, you will be able to filter the results based on a variety of things, including:
Date range
Client
Alerts
Alert status
Alert severity
Medication alerts
Visit alerts
Concern
Visit Status
Note Type
Tags
Actions
