Please note: The following feature is available for all of Birdie’s packages.
It is quick and easy to add a care professional to your Agency hub. Please note this is for those utilising Birdies Rostering packages and non-integrated agencies, if you do not have access to these features and are interested in knowing more, please reach out to your account manager.

How to add a Care Professional to Birdie
Adding a care professional to your Agency hub is quick and simple. Start by clicking on the Team Tab in the top menu and select Create new Caregiver.
This is the same process as adding an Admin profile, for more information please see this article.
You can now fill in your Care Professionals' details, there are certain details that need to be completed in order for the profile to save, these areas include:
First name
Last name
Mobile number
Status (active or inactive)
Admin (yes/no)
Email (only if this is an admin profile)
You can enter an email address and select a Group (if applicable) before you click Submit to save your progress. If you do not have this information to hand you can enter this another time.
Please note: You will not be able to add a Care Professional to your agency hub if their number or email is already in use elsewhere on Birdie.
If you receive this error you can remove the number or email from the original account as long as it is inactive. If you need further help with this please reach out to our support team via the Chatbot or by emailing Support@birdie.care for assistance.

You can enter additional details into the Care Professionals profile. You can fill in more information such as:
Operations
Onboarding
Skills
Clients
Availability
Operations- Here you can add:
The Care professional's home address
Their method of transport (Car, cycling, walking)
Their rate card, you can always fill this in later
Please note: public transport is not currently available for method of transport.
2. Onboarding & Skills- Here you can add information such as:
Their employee and social work number
Training information
Additional documents

When your Care Professional is available to work and when they are absent

How to invite a Care Professional to the Birdie app
Once you have filled in the profile and your care professional is assigned visits and ready to use Birdie you can invite them by clicking on the Admin tab and clicking send invite.
Please note: It is not possible to delete or remove a Care Professionals profile, you will need to make the profile inactive. If you need to see how to do this please read the article below:
