This feature is currently in a limited beta and is available as part of the Plus package.
You can check into a shift on the Birdie app and complete your visits as normal
A shift guarantees that you will be paid your agreed rate for a set amount of hours regardless of how many visits you complete during that time
Check-in and out of your shift on time to ensure you get paid correctly
Once checked into a shift you will then check into your visits for the day
How to check into a shift
Log into your Birdie app, at the bottom you will see a new tab called Shifts.
Tap here to see what shifts you have been assigned. You can use the date selector at the top to see what shifts you have for today and the rest of the week.
3. Tap on the shift
4. Tap Check-in
5. Go to the Visits tab to check into your first visit
6. Check into your visit and Start the report as normal
7. Complete tasks and medications for the Care Recipient
8. Check out of the visit and submit your report
9. If you have another visit, repeat steps 5-8
10. Check out of the shift to finish your day

On your app, you will see a banner showing you that you have a shift in progress and what visit you are currently in. You can click this banner for more information and to check out of the shift.
