  1. My sequence isn't sending any DMs

It is expected to take about 15 minutes for sequences to start sending its first DMs. If it is taking any longer, check if your integration to Twitter/LinkedIn is still connected from the Integrations page, and try reconnecting.

  2. My sequence is pausing automatically

There are many reasons on why your sequence can pause on Blaze. Here are most common reasons that will help you triage:

    1. Check if your integration to Twitter/LinkedIn is still connected from the Integrations page, and try reconnecting. Don't forget to resume your sequence after reconnection is successful.

    2. If your account is fairly new, we recommend warming up the account first if you have low number of followers or social media activity on the account. Here are the best practices:

      1. Post 4-5 times on a daily basis with the handles

      2. Send <50 dms/day for a week to warm up the account

      3. Check out this article on how to set sending limits for dms

      4. Run only one sequence at a time first

    3. Engage with your followers/community/audience

      1. Go to Blaze → Open the Community Tab.

      2. Apply Filters → Set Followers: 50-500 to find engaged users.

      3. Save to Segment → Select 50-100 accounts from the filtered results.

      4. Create a Twitter List → Add these accounts to a new list.

      5. Engage Daily → Like, reply, and interact with tweets from this list.

Note: In case you are still facing issues with the sequences, please reach out to our support team over live chat in the product or at support@withblaze.app.

  3. How can I analyze my sequence?

Blaze provides detailed metrics to help you track and understand the progress and effectiveness of each sequence. Here’s a breakdown of each status you’ll see when analyzing your sequence:

    1. Total Number of Leads
This represents the total leads that will go through the sequence, giving you an overview of your campaign's scale.

    2. Queued
Leads that are lined up but haven’t yet started the sequence. They’re waiting for the previous batch of in-progress leads to complete more steps. This queueing process is essential to avoid too many actions at once, which helps protect your account from being flagged or blocked.

    3. In-Progress
Leads for which some steps have been completed, and they’re now awaiting the next actions in the sequence.

    4. Bounced
Leads for which some step in the sequence couldn’t be completed. This might occur due to reasons like a closed DM setting or a suspended account.

    5. Finished
The number of leads for which all steps in the sequence have been completed successfully.

By keeping track of these statuses, you can monitor the effectiveness and smooth execution of each sequence, ensuring maximum outreach while protecting your account.

  23. How to create a draft campaign sequence?

While Blaze doesn’t currently offer a direct way to create a campaign in “draft” mode, there are two simple workarounds you can use to save your campaign and make edits before it starts sending messages.

Method 1: Launch and Immediately Pause
    You can:

    1. Launch the campaign.

    2. Blaze sequences trigger within a 5 minutes window once the user starts the campaign

    3. Immediately pause the campaign after launching.

This way, your campaign is saved in the system and won’t send any messages until you manually resume it. It acts as your draft!

Method 2: Use a Test lead in Place of Real Leads
    You can:

    1. Use a test Twitter lead — this should be a Twitter handle that’s not part of your lead list.

    2. You can upload a single test lead simply by pasting valid url into the past URL field. Valid URL format,

      For twitter lead- x.com/@twitter_handel and

      For LinkedIn lead- https:/www.linkedin.com/in/@linkedin_username

    3. Launch the campaign and then immediately pause it.

    4. Later, add your actual leads and resume the campaign.

This is a recommended step to test your campaign setup without messaging real leads right away.
