Unable to find the Curb Hero app for your device
If you're an iOS and Android user and can't find our app, here are two common reasons:
Curb Hero requires a minimum iOS and Android OS version for our app to function. If your device has an older OS you may not see our app on the app store
For users outside of North America, Curb Hero isn't available in all countries but international expansion is in progress. Depending on your region you may not see our app in your app store
For Kindle and Amazon Fire device users: you may be able to use Curb Hero if you can use the Google Play Store on your device – just search for the Curb Hero app on the Google Play Store.
Unable to Add Photos:
This is commonly a device permissions issue (especially on iOS devices). Here are instructions to resolve this issue on iOS.
Missing Lead Data:
If you're not seeing your lead data in the My Leads screen, go to the filter in the top right of the screen and check "Enable Partial Leads" in the filter to view info for leads that partially* entered their info into your on-screen sign-in.
If you're STILL not seeing the leads check the lead log for the missing info:
1. Go to My Profile (it's this 👤 icon)
2. Choose the Additional Options sub-menu
3. At the bottom you'll see View All Open House Sign-in Logs
*Note when using the QR Code Sign-in (aka Touchless Sign-in): Prospects that scan the QR Code do need to submit their info into the contact form for them to be saved in our app. Unfortunately if they don't submit the form, we won't have access to their data in our Partial Entries view or our logs.
If the app is not working as expected in other ways here are some potential causes and steps to resolve the issue
A) Network problems, in rare instances, can cause temporary issues viewing guests and listings. Sometimes mobile devices have connectivity lapses and Curb Hero just needs a digital kick in the pants to get sync'd back up. Double check that you are online – either on a wifi or cellular connection.
Offline Note: Curb Hero Open House Sign-in functionality is built to function offline, but it syncs data securely to the cloud whenever online. That's why it's recommended to get online when troubleshooting.
Logout Warning: Do not log out of your Curb Hero account if you are experiencing issues viewing your guests and/or listings.
B) Other issues sometimes can be solved using this classic IT support trick that has worked since the dawn of the personal computer. Reset the app using what's called a hard close.
On iOS:
On an iPhone X or later or an iPad with iOS 12, from the Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps
Swipe right or left to find the Curb Hero app preview
Swipe up on the Curb Hero app preview to close the app.
Now open the Curb Hero App again and hopefully 🤞everything is back to normal
On Android:
Open your device's Settings.
Scroll down and tap Apps & Notifications.
Scroll down and tap the Curb Hero app (you may have to select "see more" to see it)
Tap Stop or FORCE STOP.
Tap OK to confirm. This forces the app to quit and halts background processes.
Now open the Curb Hero App again and hopefully 🤞everything is back to normal
When using our native app with a hotspot, other connectivity issues can occur. For example follow up texts may not send. Why is that?
Since each hotspot setup is different (due to varied cellular connectivity) there are a lot of variables but often it's due to momentary periods of low/no connection. For example when the hotspot device (ex: your mobile phone) is moving throughout the property and the sign-in device (ex: your ipad) is needing to re-connect often. This could also be caused by intermittent cellular data for the hotspot device.
On Web:
1. Refresh your browser.
2. If issues continue to occur, make sure any ad blockers in your browser are disabled and also try clearing your browser cookies.
