How to import data via MEXC Global API key or CSV/Excel file?

How do I get my MEXC Global API key?

API is the initially preferred method of integration.

If necessary, additional CSV/Excel files can be uploaded afterwards. When uploading CSV/Excel files, make sure to avoid transaction duplicates. More information on this can be found under CSV/Excel file upload.

  1. Log into your MEXC Global account.

  2. Click on the profile button in the upper-right corner and select API Management.

  3. Now enter "blockpit" as Notes for your API key and only grant all View & Read permissions" as shown in the image below.

  4. Do not use IP whitelisting for Blockpit.

  5. Now click Create, request your Email verification code, enter it along with your authentication code and click Submit.

  6. Your API key and Secret are now visible in the API-List.
Your Secret is now shown only once and available to copy!

  7. To import your data, you must first create an Integration in the Blockpit Web App.
To do so, navigate to the menu item Integrations in your Dashboard and click on +Integration.

  8. Select MEXC from the list of exchanges, and then copy the API key and the secret into the designated fields. Confirm your entries by clicking Continue.

❗ Your API key must be extended or renewed in time every 3 months. You can edit the Integration and renew your API key there.

💡 Tip: If you are unable to create an Integration without "Mismatched Balances" using an initial API integration and additional CSV/Excel uploads, try creating a CSV/Excel Integration first and then convert your Integration into an API Integration afterwards. In addition, use a current import start date (e.g. import time span: today's date) as a separator to avoid transaction duplicates.

Which data can be imported via MEXC Global API?

Your complete transaction history always serves as the basis for your tax report. Preferably, automatic API solutions are used to import your transactions. Our team is committed to implementing all API data provided by your exchange for you.

Using the following list, you can identify all products that are implemented:

Transactions

📅 Spot Market Trades older than 30 days are not available via API.

📅 Crypto Deposits/Withdrawals and Futures Trades older than 90 days are not available via API.

Supported

Crypto Deposits & Withdrawals
Fee Payments
Spot Market Trades
PnL for Future Trades (Profit, Loss, Fee, Funding)

In case of missing transactions, you can help our support team via chat-request to include them in our import spectrum (if technically possible).

Not Supported

⛔ Margin Trades
⛔ Earn: Rewards & Distributions (Staking, Lending, Airdrops, Hard Forks)
⛔ Credit Card Trades / P2P Trades
⛔ Fiat Deposits & Withdrawals

❗ Assets that are initially listed with “Observation – ST TAG” are not available via API. The “ST Tag” activates a countdown of approximately 20 to 30 days in the background. If certain criteria are not met, the asset will be delisted by MEXC.

Missing transactions can be found by comparing the actual history of your exchange. You can then add these directly to your Blockpit Integration by subsequently uploading your CSV/Excel file (see below) or by migrating your CSV/Excel data into our Excel template.

Synced Balance

✅ Complete import scope

If your Synced Balance is displayed incompletely, you can help our support team via chat-request to include it in our import spectrum (if technically possible).

How do I get my MEXC Global CSV/Excel file?

Download and upload your MEXC CSV file

The following steps will help you download your MEXC CSV file and import it into Blockpit:

  1. Log into your MEXC account.

  2. Go to Orders in the main navigation.

  3. Then click on as needed on Spot Orders / Futures Orders.

  4. Now navigate to Trade History and click on Export.

  5. Select the relevant transaction period (preferably entire tax years from January 1 to December 31) and click Generate.

  6. Once the file has been generated, download it from the Export History. We recommend renaming the file after the corresponding period (e.g., MEXC Trades 2023-01-01 - 2023-12-31.xlsx)

  7. Repeat this step for Futures Trade History (or Capital Flow) if needed

  8. Your deposit and withdrawal history is located under Wallets > Funding History.

    1. Select Deposit, click on Export, define the date range, and click Generate.

    1. Repeat the exact same step for the Withdrawal type.

  9. Alternative / New Centralized Export (Account Data Export):

If you prefer downloading your datasets from a central hub (available for data from October 2024 onwards), navigate to Help Center > Self-Services > Account Data Export (or open mexc.com/help-center/export](https://mexc.com/help-center/export):

    • Select EXCEL as the export format (do not select PDF).

    • Define your desired date range.

    • Select ONLY the following data categories:

      • Spot: Check Spot Trade History only.

(⚠️ Do NOT select Spot Statement or Spot Order History to prevent duplicated transactions).

      • Funding History: Check Deposit History and Withdrawal History.

      • Futures (optional): Check Futures Trade History, Futures Capital Flow, and Copy Trade Order History.

(⚠️ Do NOT select Futures Position History or Futures Statement).

      • Fiat / Earn (optional): Check OTC/P2P Orders and Flexible/Fixed Earn.

    • Click Generate and download the files from your Export History once ready.

  10. You can now import the file into Blockpit:

    • Option A – New Standalone CSV Integration: Click Add Integration > select MEXC > switch to the CSV tab.

    • Option B – Existing Integration (Consecutive Upload): Go to your Integrations tab, click Edit / Upload CSV on your existing MEXC integration as shown below.

Now drag the corresponding file(s) into the field displayed below and confirm your entry with Save to upload your transactions.

❗ When uploading your transactions into your Integration, the system does not check for transaction duplicates.

Transactions that already exist in your Integration must therefore be removed from the CSV/Excel file before uploading.

💡 If the upload of your original CSV/Excel file does not work, please try to update your internet browser version first or use an alternative browser to eliminate potential sources of error.
