With the Source of Funds Report, you create a separate report for a single transaction that shows where the money comes from. Typical cases are EUR withdrawals from your exchange to your bank or crypto withdrawals from your wallet to your exchange, when the bank or exchange asks for proof.
What do I need?
Since November 1, 2026, Source of Funds Reports are included unlimitedly in Blockpit Plus (€59 / $69 / £49 per year). Credits can no longer be purchased. Credits you already purchased remain valid and do not expire.
ℹ️ Good to know: Older credits are not store credit for other Blockpit products (tax report, Blockpit Plus). They apply solely to Source of Funds Reports.

With Blockpit Plus you create as many Source of Funds Reports as you need, without credits. You find Plus in the Shop.
How to create a Source of Funds Report
1️⃣ In the Dashboard tab Integrations, click Sync All and then Calculation. The report shows the state of your data at the time of creation.
2️⃣ In the sidebar, open Source of Funds and choose the path:
▸ Existing Transaction: You choose a withdrawal that has already been imported from the list.
▸ Planned Transaction: The withdrawal is still to come. You enter the date, integration, asset and quantity and click Continue.
3️⃣ Once you have selected the transaction, click Generate Source of Funds Report. With Blockpit Plus this is unlimited and needs no credits. Old credits stay valid.
4️⃣ Then download the report in the Collection tab. All reports you have created are stored there.
What does the report contain?
The PDF report contains an overview, the origin of the funds as a transaction flow with a short AI summary, the data sources (integrations), charts and the transaction details. This lets your bank understand which purchases and sales the amount comes from.
Typical mistakes
✗ Created the report before syncing → newer purchases are missing in the chain of origin
✗ Open tips such as Missing History → the origin can only be shown with gaps
✗ Wanting to buy more credits → credits are no longer sold. Use Blockpit Plus for unlimited reports.
