Review status: mark transactions as reviewed

With the review status you mark in Transactions which transactions you have already compared with the source and which are still open. This way you keep track even with many wallets, exchanges or daily trades.

What does "reviewed" mean?

Reviewed means: you have compared the transaction with the original source, that is, with your exchange, your wallet, a blockchain explorer or the original history. The checkmark in Blockpit is only the result of this review.

⚠️ Attention: The status Marked as Reviewed does not correct anything. Only set it once you have really compared the transaction and, if necessary, corrected it.

Mark a single transaction

Click the bookmark icon on the transaction. Each click moves to the next state:

⬛ Unmarked: default state (3rd click Unmark)

🟨 Marked for Review: 1st click, yellow

🟩 Marked as Reviewed: 2nd click, green, the final state

When to use "Marked for Review"?

Yellow is your reminder list for later, for example for freshly synced trades, complex DeFi or NFT transactions, suspicious or incomplete imports, transactions with tips and cases where you still want to add data.

When to use "Marked as Reviewed"?

Green means: compared and correct. Typically you check asset, amount, timestamp, fees, transaction label and tax treatment. This turns the review status into your personal quality control.

Mark many transactions at once

1️⃣ Select the transactions with the checkboxes.

2️⃣ Open the three-dot menu (⋮) in the action bar.

3️⃣ Choose Mark as Reviewed, Mark for Review or Unmark.

This is practical after large API syncs, after CSV imports, when first building your history or when you review older periods in bulk.

Filter by review status

With the View filter you show only one state, each with its count: Unmarked, Marked for Review or Marked as Reviewed.

This way you quickly find unreviewed or newly imported transactions, work through open cases in a targeted way and hide transactions you have already reviewed.

Recommended workflow

The review status helps most as a fixed step after every new transaction:

How to proceed

1️⃣ Execute a Trade or other transaction.

2️⃣ Sync the integration in Blockpit.

3️⃣ Compare the imported transaction with your exchange or wallet.

4️⃣ Edit or complete it if necessary.

5️⃣ Set the review status to green.

✅ Ideally, most of your history is green. New or unreviewed transactions then stand out immediately. Especially with active trading, you detect import problems earlier, complete missing data in time and avoid tax mistakes.
