Account Health is your to-do list for clean data: one page that shows all open issues in your account, sorts them by their effect on your tax report and takes you to the solution with one click.

What does Account Health show?
Your score is at the top, below it the areas with open tips. Each area shows how many transactions are affected and what a solution brings.

In which order do I resolve tips?
The page already arranges the areas correctly. Work through them from top to bottom and from left to right, and within an area by the highest Impact Score.
💡 Tip: An error early in your history often causes many more: A missing deposit from 2021 creates negative balances until 2023. If you resolve the cause, the follow-up tips usually disappear on their own after the recalculation.
Resolve tips directly in Account Health
Renew connection (API re-authentication)
What is going on? The automatic synchronization with an exchange or wallet is interrupted, for example because an API key has expired or permissions have changed.
How to solve it
1️⃣ In Account Health, in the area API Re-authentication, click Update next to the integration.
2️⃣ Choose Reconnect Account (for login connections) or enter new API keys if the old key has expired or permissions have changed.
3️⃣ Start the sync. Blockpit automatically loads whatever happened since the interruption.
Missing History
What is going on? According to the history, more of an asset went out than was there before. The balance becomes negative.
How to find the cause
1️⃣ In the tip, click Review in Ledger. You see the balance development of the asset step by step.
2️⃣ Scroll to the date where the balance turns red for the first time.
3️⃣ Check whether a deposit, a Trade or a Transfer is missing before that, and add it with the original data from your exchange or wallet.
Cannot find anything: Auto-Correction via the “+”
In the ledger, click the “+” at the point where the balance tips. Blockpit balances the holding exactly from that point on, earlier years stay untouched.
⚠️ Warning: The Auto-Correction books the missing amount with a cost basis of €0. If you sell it later, the whole proceeds count as gain. Use it only when you cannot find the real cause.
Balance Discrepancy
What is going on? The exchange or wallet reports a different balance than Blockpit calculates from your transactions.
How to solve it
1️⃣ First resolve all Missing History tips for this asset. Often the discrepancy is already gone afterwards.
2️⃣ If only a small, explainable difference remains (rounding, dust, staking rewards not recorded), click Match Balance.
3️⃣ Choose the guided correction. Blockpit aligns the calculated balance with the reported one.
Missing labels and unconnected transfers
What is going on? Transactions have no label, or the deposit and withdrawal of a transfer are not connected.
One transaction
▸ Set a label: Click the label field in the row and choose for example Gift, Airdrop, Staking or Fee. For Trade, Transfer or Token Migration use the small arrow next to it.
▸ Connect a transfer: Select the deposit and withdrawal and choose Merge Transactions.
Many transactions at once (bulk labeling)
1️⃣ Filter at the top, for example by integration, asset or the status Unlabeled.
2️⃣ Select the affected rows or Select All at the very top.
3️⃣ In the action bar, assign a label to all of them at once, for example all daily Earn rewards as Staking.
Missing Value
What is going on? There is no historical market price for a token, LP token, NFT or older Trade.
How to solve it
1️⃣ Click Add Value next to the transaction.
2️⃣ Enter the unit price or the total value in euros at the time of the transaction.
3️⃣ Preferably take the value from your exchange receipt, otherwise from CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap or a blockchain explorer.

🔄 Afterwards: wait for the recalculation
After every change Blockpit recalculates your data, the banner or loading icon at the top shows it. Only then are Account Health, tax report and performance up to date, and resolved tips disappear.
⚠️ Warning: Changes to transactions directly affect cost basis, holding periods and realized gains. Therefore check your tax report only after the recalculation has finished.
Common mistakes
✗ Starting with Match Balance → the actual cause stays hidden and causes further errors
✗ Starting at the bottom of the list → you resolve follow-up errors that would have disappeared after the cause anyway
✗ Checking the score right after a change → the recalculation is still running, the score is outdated
Frequently asked questions
Why has my score not increased after resolving a tip?
The recalculation is still running. Wait until the banner at the top disappears and reload the page.
The calculation is stuck or takes very long. What can I do?
You can stop it yourself: In the sidebar, hover over the running Calculation and click Stop Calculation. Afterwards the state of the last successful calculation applies, its date is shown in the sidebar. Then recalculate before you rely on the score or the tax report.
Do I have to reach 100%?
Not necessarily, but every open tip can distort your tax report. Prioritize by Impact Score: the tips with the biggest effect first.
An area has suddenly disappeared. Is that an error?
No. The page only shows areas where there is something to do for you. If an area is gone, everything there is resolved.
