Add a Team Member
Go to Team → Team Members.
Click + New Team Member (top right).
Enter the team member’s:
Name
Email
Phone
(Optional) Enable Parts Team Member if they should manage parts inventory and purchase orders.
Click Save.
Activate a Team Member Account
After you add a team member, they must activate their account:
Enter their email, create a password, and click Sign Up.
They’ll receive an email to confirm their address.
Once confirmed, they can log in at app.boatyard.com with their new password.
After logging in, they’ll have access to orders, invoicing, messaging, and all other dashboard features.
Remove a Team Member
Before deleting a team member:
Go to Orders.
Filter by these statuses:
In Progress
Awaiting Acceptance
Estimate Sent
Partial Payment
Deposit Requested
Invoiced
Add a filter for the Assigned Team Member you’re removing.
Reassign every order to another team member.
Once all orders are reassigned:
Go to Team → Team Members.
Select the team member.
Click Delete.
Adding and Removing Technicians
Add a Technician
Go to Team → Technicians.
Click Add Technician (top right).
Enter:
First name
Last name
Email
Phone
Toggle View Other Calendars on/off (optional).
Click Save.
The technician will receive an email to activate their account.
Remove a Technician
Go to Team → Technicians.
Select the technician.
Click Delete.
Before deleting:
Reassign any open jobs.
Go to Jobs, filter by that technician, and reassign all remaining work.
Please note: MarineMax, SkipperBuds and Silver Seas team member will not receive an activation email. You will be able to log into Boatyard using your company email address and password.
