How to Import Invoices Using SaaSAnt

Once you have created your SaaSAnt account and connected it to your QuickBooks account, you are ready to get started!

🤩 SaaSAnt will automatically create any new customers and services in QuickBooks from the invoices you import. You do not need to import your customers separately.

First, select "Import" from the home screen in SaaSAnt.

Next, select "Transactions".

Then select "Invoice".

On the next screen, you will be asked to upload a file. You will select your invoice export file from Boatyard.

Next, you need to map the data from Boatyard to the correct fields in QuickBooks. You will only need to do this step the first time you upload a file.

These are the following fields that you will map:

QuickBooks Field Name

Boatyard Field Name

Invoice Number

Order ID

Customer

Customer Name

Invoice Date

Invoice Date

Email

Email

Sales Tax Amount

Tax Amount

Product/Service

Service Name

Product/Service Quantity

Quantity

Product/Service Rate

Cost

All other fields can be left blank.

Once you have selected the fields, you can scroll to the bottom and click on "Review".

You will be given an opportunity to review the data to check that you have selected the correct fields. If everything looks good, you can click on "Upload".

And that's it! SaaSAnt will now send all your invoices into QuickBooks!

Your QuickBooks Payments integration between Boatyard and QuickBooks will push the transactions into QuickBooks for you, so then you just need to receive the payment on the invoices to mark them as paid.

⚠️Please Note: Once you've uploaded the invoices into QuickBooks you can remove them by clicking on the "Undo" button in SaaSAnt.
