If you're familiar with the origins of Book Creator, you'll know that Book Creator was originally developed for a child with dyslexia so that his family could create their own books to help him read. So it's no surprise that Book Creator comes with the Open Dyslexic font!

A screen shows text in a text box that reads "Open Dyslexic is thicker at the bottom and has unique character shapes which help make it easier to read, with less chance that readers will confuse individual letters."

The next text box you add to the page of a book will remember the last used font.

A screen shows text being typed into a text box. Then the user selects the Open Dyslexic font. Then a new text box is opened, the user writes in the text "New text entered into your book will remember the last font you used". This text box then appears on the screen and is already using the Open Dyslexic font.
