Page Templates

Templates are a great way to quickly get started creating a book, or to get inspiration for new ways to use Book Creator with your students.

Book Creator has almost 1,000 editable and accessible page templates to help teachers and students get started. With templates, it's easy to create a new book from scratch, get inspiration, or find a quick one-page activity for your students.

How to add a page template

To add a page template, follow these steps:

  1. Click the + button in the toolbar

  2. Choose Media then Templates.

3. You'll find hundreds of templates to choose from. You can either browse the categories or use the search bar at the top to find what you're looking for with keywords.

Page templates are designed to fit landscape books. While you can add them to square or portrait books, some items may shift and need editing.

What kind of templates are available?

With almost 1,000 templates, there's something for every grade and content area. Each of our categories includes subcategories to make finding the right page for your project a breeze.

  • Graphic organizers: These are essential tools for planning and organizing information, helping students think critically and problem-solve.

The full range of templates is available to teachers and students on a premium plan. If you're using a free plan, you can still access a limited number of templates, just search for "free" or click on the "Free to me" category.

Q: Can I edit the page templates?

A: Yes! All of the page templates within Book Creator are completely editable! We encourage our teachers and students to create what works for your project or learning goals!

Q: What's the difference between Page Templates and Book Templates?

A: When you're creating a new book, you can select to create it using a book template by toggling to Templates. This will allow you to create a styled book in a similar theme or genre. Page templates can be added to any book after it's created!
