How to use Insights - memberships

The Insights module gives you an overview of key statistics and analytics related to memberships and their activities. Follow this guide to navigate and understand the data.

Navigate to Insights

  1. Go to Dashboard.

  2. Find the Insights section in the menu.

  3. click on Memberships

  4. Select the desired period by entering a From date and a To date (for example, 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2024).

  5. Adjust the display interval, e.g. 7 days, to focus on specific time frames. .--- minimum length of membership before it is included

Insights & Stats

1. Membership Types

Get an overview of the different types of memberships and how they are distributed.

2. Active members

  • Displays the number of active members per month.

  • Highs and lows are highlighted where members have at least one active membership.

3. Active memberships

  • Displays the number of active memberships per month.

  • The highs and lows of the activity are highlighted.

4. Membership time

  • Displays the membership time calculated as the number of months between membership start and end date.

5. Length of Engagement

  • Displays the duration of member engagement per month.

  • Includes a 6-month moving average to smooth out fluctuations.

6. Churn rate

  • Displays the churn rate as a percentage per month, indicating the number of members who are leaving.

  • median and average churn rates for the entire period are also displayed.

7. Aging

  • Display of the members' age distribution within the selected period.

8. Gender distribution

  • Shows how the genders are distributed among the members during the period.

Membership-related distributions

To get a deeper insight into the behavior of members, you can analyze different distributions:

  • Membership distribution: The distribution of different membership types.

  • Membership Fee Distribution: Statistics on different membership fee levels.

  • Campaign distribution: Overview of how members are distributed across campaigns.

  • Voucher distribution: Distribution of vouchers sold.

  • Personal training: Statistics on the use of personal training.

  • Drop-in: Drop-in member statistics.

If the data is not displayed

If there is no data available for the selected period, it may be because:

  1. No memberships are registered during the selected period.

  2. Incorrect filtering or period length.

Check the settings and try a wider period of time or adjust the filters.
