📌 Method: MembershipDistribution

This article explains how we calculate the distribution of memberships.

How is the membership distribution calculated?

  1. Find all active memberships in the period

    • We are withdrawing all active memberships.

  2. Group by segment

    • Memberships are broken down by gender, age, or membership type.

  3. Calculate the distribution

    • We count how many members belong to each category.

  4. Visualize data

    • Data is displayed as a pie chart showing the distribution.

Example calculation

We calculate the membership distribution in March.

Membership type

Number of members

Percentage distribution

Basic

500

50%

Premium

300

30%

VIP

200

20%

  1. Calculate percentage distribution:

    3001000×100=30%\frac{300}{1000} \times 100 = 30\%1000300×100=30%

  2. Compare to previous months for trends.

Why is this important?

Understand which membership types are most popular
Identify potential areas for upgrades or price adjustments
Customize marketing strategies based on membership distribution

💡 Result: A pie chart showing the membership distribution.
