Overview

Membership discounts are designed to stay active automatically. In most cases, a discount will remain applied to a member unless a specific action is taken.

This article explains:

  • When a discount stays active

  • When a discount is removed

  • What does not remove a discount

How Discounts Work

Once a discount is applied to a member:

  • The discount stays active automatically

  • The system does not remove discounts by itself

  • Normal billing and renewals keep the discounted price

No action is required to keep the discount.

When Is a Discount Removed?

A discount is only removed in one situation:

  • When you use the Change Membership function

Changing a membership resets pricing rules, which may remove the discount.

What Does NOT Remove a Discount

A discount will remain active as long as:

  • The individual price expiration date is not changed

  • The member’s age does not exceed the age limit set on the price

  • The membership itself is not changed

As long as these conditions are met, the discounted price stays in place.

Important to Remember

  • Discounts do not expire automatically

  • Discounts are not removed by payments or renewals

  • Only manual membership changes affect discounts

Summary

  • Discounts stay unless manually removed

  • Only “Change Membership” can remove a discount

  • Age limits and price expiration dates must still be valid
