What This Screen Does
This is where you can browse all your members displayed as visual cards. Think of it like a pinboard with a card for each member — showing their photo, name, and key details at a glance. It is a quick way to scan through your member base without reading through a table. From here you can also navigate to create a new member.
How to Get There
Open the dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, click Members.
Click Cards in the submenu (or navigate via the breadcrumb trail: Dashboard → User → Cards).
You are now on the Member Cards screen.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Browse Member Cards
When the page loads you will see a grid of member cards.
Each card shows a summary of one member, including their name, avatar, and basic details.
The grid automatically adjusts to your screen size:
Desktop: 3 cards per row.
Tablet: 2 cards per row.
Mobile: 1 card per row.
Scroll down to see more cards if you have many members.
2. View a Member Card
Each card displays key information about a member at a glance:
Element | What It Shows |
Avatar / Photo | The member’s profile picture or a default avatar. |
Name | The member’s full name. |
Role / Details | Summary information such as their role or membership type. |
You do not need to click into each member to see their basic info — the card gives you a quick overview.
3. Create a New Member
In the top-right corner of the page, click the + New User button.
This will take you to the member creation screen where you can fill in all the details for a new member.
You will be redirected to the new member form.
4. Use Breadcrumbs to Navigate
At the top of the page you will see a breadcrumb trail: Dashboard → User → Cards.
Click Dashboard to go back to the main dashboard.
Click User to go to the main members list.
These breadcrumbs help you move quickly between related screens.

Troubleshooting
“I do not see any member cards on the page”
If no cards appear, there may be no members in the system yet.
Click the + New User button to create your first member.
If you know members exist, try refreshing the page — the data may not have loaded properly.
“The cards are showing in a single column even on a wide screen”
The layout adjusts based on your browser window size. Make sure your browser window is wide enough (at least 900 pixels) to see the 3-column layout.
If you have the sidebar expanded, it may be reducing the available space. Try collapsing the sidebar.
“I clicked ‘+ New User’ but nothing happened”
Check your internet connection — the navigation requires the page to load.
Try clicking the button again. If it still does not work, refresh the page and try once more.
Make sure you have the correct permissions to create new members. If the button appears greyed out or disabled, contact your administrator.
“The member photos are not loading”
This can happen if your internet connection is slow or unstable. Give it a moment and the images should appear.
If a specific member has no photo, they will show a default avatar instead. This is normal — it means no profile image was uploaded for that member.
Try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page.
“I cannot find a specific member in the cards”
The cards screen shows all members in a grid. If you have many members, you may need to scroll down to find the one you are looking for.
For faster searching, consider using the member list view instead, which may offer search and filter options.
Make sure the member has been created in the system. If they are new, use the + New User button to add them first.
“The page is loading very slowly”
If you have a large number of members, the card grid may take a moment to render.
Check your internet connection speed.
Try closing other browser tabs to free up memory.
If the problem persists, contact your administrator — there may be a server performance issue.
“I want to edit a member but I do not see an edit button on the card”
The cards view is designed for browsing and quick reference. To edit a member, click on their card to open their profile, then look for the edit option on the detail page.
Alternatively, go to the member list view where edit actions may be more accessible.
“The breadcrumbs are not showing correctly”
This is usually a display issue. Try refreshing the page.
If the breadcrumbs still look wrong, clear your browser cache and reload.
Make sure you are accessing the page through the normal navigation path (left-hand menu → Members → Cards).
