What This Screen Does

This is where you upgrade your subscription plan and enter your payment details. Think of it like a checkout page in an online store — you fill in your billing address, choose how you want to pay, review the total, and confirm. Once you complete the process, your account is upgraded to the Premium plan.


How to Get There

  1. Open the dashboard.

  2. Navigate to your account or plan settings.

  3. Choose to upgrade your plan.

  4. You are now on the Payment screen.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Fill In Your Billing Address

On the left side of the screen you will see a Billing Address section. Enter your details so the system knows who is being billed.

2. Choose a Payment Method

Next to the billing address you will see the Payment Method section. Pick how you want to pay.

There are two options:

PayPal

Pay using your PayPal account. Selected by default.

Credit / Debit Card

Pay using a Visa or Mastercard.

  • Click on the option you prefer. The selected option will have a highlighted border and a checkmark icon.

  • If you choose PayPal, no additional fields appear — you will complete the payment through PayPal after clicking the upgrade button.

3. Select or Add a Card (Credit / Debit Card only)

If you selected Credit / Debit Card, extra fields will appear:

  • A Cards dropdown shows your saved cards. Pick the one you want to use.

  • The available saved cards will show the last four digits and the cardholder name so you can tell them apart.

  • If none of your saved cards are right, click the + Add New Card button to open the new card dialog and enter fresh card details.

4. Review the Summary

On the right side of the screen you will see the Summary panel. This shows you exactly what you are paying for.

  • The asterisk (*) means applicable taxes may be added on top.

  • The summary also displays a security notice: Secure credit card payment with 128-bit SSL encryption.

5. Upgrade My Plan

  • Once you have filled in your billing address, chosen a payment method, and reviewed the summary, click the Upgrade My Plan button at the bottom of the summary panel.

  • The system will:

    1. Validate your billing address and payment details.

    2. Process the payment through the selected method (PayPal or credit/debit card).

    3. Upgrade your account to the Premium plan.

    4. Redirect you to a confirmation page or back to the dashboard.

  • You will see a confirmation notification that your plan has been upgraded.

Troubleshooting

“The Upgrade My Plan button does not seem to do anything”

  • Make sure all billing address fields are filled in. The form cannot submit with empty fields.

  • Check that you have selected a payment method. If you chose Credit / Debit Card, make sure a card is selected from the dropdown.

  • Look for red error messages near any of the fields — they will tell you what needs to be fixed.

“I do not see my saved card in the dropdown”

  • The card list is loaded when the page opens. Try refreshing the page.

  • If you have never added a card before, the dropdown will only show default placeholder cards. Click + Add New Card to add yours.

  • If the problem persists, check your internet connection or contact support.

“I want to pay with PayPal but nothing happens after I click Upgrade”

  • Make sure PayPal is selected as your payment method (it should have a checkmark icon and a highlighted border).

  • Your browser may be blocking the PayPal pop-up window. Check for a blocked pop-up notification in your browser’s address bar and allow it.

  • Disable any ad blockers or browser extensions that might interfere with the PayPal redirect.

“I am not sure if my payment went through”

  • Check your email inbox for a payment receipt or confirmation message.

  • Go to your account settings and verify that your plan now shows as Premium.

  • If you were charged but the plan did not update, contact support with your payment confirmation details so they can resolve it.

“The price shows $9.99 but I was charged more”

  • The summary notes that the total is $9.99 plus applicable taxes. The extra amount is likely sales tax or VAT based on your billing address.

  • Check the invoice sent to your email for a full breakdown of the charges.

“I want to switch from monthly to a different billing cycle”

  • Use the Billed Monthly toggle switch in the summary panel. Turning it off may show you alternative billing options such as annual billing.

  • If no other options appear, the current plan may only support monthly billing. Contact support for other arrangements.

“I entered the wrong billing address after upgrading”

  • Go to your account or billing settings in the dashboard to update your billing address.

  • The billing address can usually be changed at any time without affecting your active subscription.

“The Add New Card dialog is not opening”

  • The + Add New Card button only appears when Credit / Debit Card is selected as the payment method. Make sure you have clicked on that option first.

  • If the button is visible but nothing happens when you click it, try refreshing the page or using a different browser.
