This article covers everything you need to manage your campaigns: creating templated and custom campaigns, editing settings, changing status, and understanding what features are available at each level.
Creating a templated campaign: Quick Start, Max Clicks, and Max ROAS
Templated campaigns are the fastest way to go live. Dynamic Bidding and ROAS goals are set by default. You just set your budget, activate your hotels, and launch.
Go to the Campaigns tab in the left-hand navigation bar and click + Create Campaign.
Select the templated campaign type that matches your goal (see Campaign Templates Overview for guidance) and click Next.
Enter your Campaign Name, set your Start Date (or choose Always On), and set your Budget
Under Hotels, click Add Hotels > All Hotels, tick your properties, and click Activate in Ad Group > Apply
Review and click Launch Campaign
⚠️ Always confirm hotels are activated in the ad group. A campaign with no active hotels will not deliver impressions even if the campaign status shows Active.
Creating a custom campaign
Custom Campaigns give you full control over budget frequency, pacing, ROAS goal, dynamic bidding, and targeting. Use this option when you have a specific audience or seasonal strategy.
Go to the Campaigns tab and click + Create Campaign.
Select Custom Campaign and click Next.
Configure your campaign settings:
Click Next to configure your ad group settings
Ad Group Name
Budget (cannot exceed the campaign budget)
Base Bid (required if dynamic bidding is off)
Hotels (click Add Hotels > All Hotels, tick properties, click Activate in Ad Group > Apply)
Targeting
Click Save Ad Group, review all settings, then click Launch Campaign

How to edit a campaign or ad group
Go to the Campaigns tab
Hover over the campaign name
Click the pencil icon (✏️) next to the campaign or ad group you want to edit
Make your changes and click Save
⚠️ What cannot be changed after a campaign is created:
Budget frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) - locked at creation. Create a new campaign if you need a different budget type
Campaign type (Quick Start, Maximize ROAS, etc.) - cannot be switched after creation
How to change campaign status
Pause - hover over the campaign and click the pause icon, or open Campaign Settings and toggle status to Paused. Delivery stops immediately.
Resume - click the play icon or set the status back to Active. Confirm your account balance is positive first.

Campaign status explained
Status | What it means |
Pending | Campaigns just activated or set to go live in the future |
Active | Running and eligible to enter auctions and deliver impressions |
Paused | Manually stopped, no impressions delivered, and can be resumed at any time |
Ended | The campaign end date has been reached |
Delete a campaign
Campaigns cannot be permanently deleted. This preserves your performance history. If you no longer need a campaign, set it to Paused or allow it to reach its end date.
