Multi-Session Discount allows you to automatically apply discounts when your customers book multiple individual sessions for an activity.

Overview

The Multi-Session Discount allows you to automatically apply discounts when your customers book multiple individual sessions for an activity.


This feature helps you reward customers for booking more sessions - for example, offering 10% off when booking 3 or more sessions.

You can create, manage, and assign Multi-Session Discounts directly from your Supplier Portal.


1. Creating a Multi-Session Discount

You can access the Multi-Session Discount setup from your existing Discounts area in the Supplier Portal.

Step 1: Create a new Multi-Session Discount

  1. Go to your Discounts section in the side nav.

  2. Click on the Multi-session Discount tab

  3. Click Create Discount.

  4. Enter a name for your discount.

Step 2: Define the discount type

Choose whether the discount should be:

  • A fixed amount (e.g. £10 off), or

  • A percentage (e.g. 10% off).

Step 3: Set discount conditions

Define how the discount should scale depending on the number of sessions booked.
For example:

  • 2 or more sessions → 10% off

  • 3 or more sessions → 15% off

  • 5 or more sessions → 20% off

These rules are applied automatically when a customer adds the qualifying number of individual sessions to their basket.

Step 4: Allow or block promo codes

Decide whether promo codes can be used alongside a Multi-Session Discount.


2. Assigning Activities to a Multi-Session Discount

Once you’ve created a Multi-Session Discount, it will appear on the Multi-session Discount tab.

Activities are not automatically assigned to the discount. To assign them:

  1. Click Add activities.

  2. A side panel will open where you can filter and select which activities should be included.

⚠️ Important: Each activity can only belong to one Multi-Session Discount at a time to prevent conflicting discount rules.

If an activity is already assigned to another discount, you’ll be prompted to switch it to the new Multi-Session Discount.


3. Excluding Specific Schedules

After assigning an activity:

  • All of its schedules are included by default.

  • You can toggle off specific schedules if you don’t want the discount to apply to them by opening the schedule viewer in the edit activity flow.

This gives you flexibility to run promotions only on selected dates or sessions.


4. Booking Journey (Customer View)

When a customer views an activity that has a Multi-Session Discount:

  • The discount conditions are displayed clearly on the Activity Details Page.

  • As they add sessions to their basket, the system checks if any discount conditions are met.

  • Once the required number of sessions are in the basket, the Multi-Session Discount is automatically applied and shown on the ticket selection screen.

Multi-Session Discounts only apply to individual sessions, not block bookings.

Combining with Promo Codes

If you’ve enabled it during setup, a Multi-Session Discount can be combined with promo codes for additional savings.


5. Booking History

The booking history view shows when a Multi-Session Discount has been applied.
This helps you compare:

  • The standard ticket price, and

  • The discounted price with the Multi-Session Discount applied.

This visibility makes it easy to track the performance and impact of your discounts.


6. Tips & Best Practices

  • Keep it clear: Use simple naming conventions (e.g. “3-Session Saver 15% Off”).

  • Be strategic: Offer higher discounts for larger session bundles to encourage commitment.

  • Track impact: Review booking data and customer uptake to see how well your discount is performing.


7. FAQs

Q: Can I assign an activity to more than one Multi-Session Discount?
No. Each activity can only be linked to one Multi-Session Discount to avoid conflicting discounts.

Q: Can I use a Multi-Session Discount with promo codes?
Yes - if you enabled this option during setup.

Q: Do Multi-Session Discounts work with block bookings?
No, Multi-Session Discounts apply only to individual session bookings.
