The BoomScreen tenant screening application typically takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete, provided you have all of your required information and documents ready before you begin.
What Should I Have Ready Before I Start?
Each property management company has different criteria, so please review their resident qualifications before starting the application. In most cases, you will need to provide the following:
A valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or passport) for identity verification. You will need to have the physical ID with you to have the document verified.
Your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
Proof of income — such as recent pay stubs, bank statements, an offer letter, or tax returns.
Your housing history for the past two years, including previous addresses and landlord contact information.
Your employment information, including your employer's name, address, and contact details.
