Learn how to create a client portal to act as a lead intake form.

Set up

When you make a new ClientPortal version, you can enable it to be used as a NEW lead intake form. Here a few differences between a normal ClientPortal version.

  1. There is only one URL for this portal type. Typically the ClientPortal URL is unique to each person you send it to. This means you can include this single URL or QR code on emails, postcards, seminar materials, etc as a way for prospects to give consent to contact and provide important information.

  2. The typical ClientPortal log in page just asks for first and last name. This creates a new profile in your CRM and then proceeds to ask them for more information.

This portal version SHOULD NOT be sent to existing clients as it will fail due to duplication checks.

URL

After you have created a portal for new leads, you can copy the URL for your new lead intake form to send to new prospects. You also have the option to copy the QR code URL. These URLs can be added to all sorts of marketing material, such as websites, email templates, and more!
