The Box Office is the ticketing home for a single event. It shows the event's revenue, how buyers paid, attendance, recent orders, and shortcuts to other ticketing tools for the event.
The Box Office is also where you close out cash sales. If you don't track cash on a card reader or in Launch Checkout, you can enter the cash after the event, such as the count from a gate cash box and verify the event's cash total before closing.
Open the Box Office
Go to Events and find the event.
Click the green ticket button on the event, then click Box Office. The Box Office opens in a new tab.
Tip: You can also go to Events -> Ticketing and click the Open Box Office button at the start of the event's row.
Box Office Panels
The top of the Box Office shows the event's status, such as Pending · cash not closed out or Closed, along with + Record cash, Ticketing Setup, and Launch Checkout.

Close Out Cash Sales
Cash taken in Launch Checkout or the Gate App is already counted in the Box Office. Close out cash to add any cash that wasn't recorded yet and confirm the event's cash total.
Note: Close-out opens the day after the event, so late digital sales are counted first. Until the cash is closed out, the event shows Pending · cash not closed out.
In the Box Office, click Close out cash in the banner, or click + Record cash. The Close out cash sales window opens.
If you already saved cash for this event, choose Add to existing to add this entry to it, or Replace existing to overwrite it.
Under Cash to add, choose how to enter the cash:
Single total: Enter the number of Cash tickets and the Cash collected ($).
By ticket type: Enter the Quantity for each ticket type. The Amount is calculated from your ticket setup's price. To charge a different cash price, click the lock next to the price.
(Optional) Enter a Note, such as which gate the cash came from.
Check Adding and New cash total, then save:
To keep the event pending, for example to enter another gate later, click Save cash sales.
To finish, click Save & close out.
In Verify the cash total, check Cash tickets sold and Cash collected, then click Verify and close.
The event's status changes to Closed. Each saved entry appears in Recent Orders as a Closeout order.
Tip: To close out several events without opening each Box Office, go to Events -> Ticketing, set Status to Pending, and click Pending next to each event. See Use the Ticketing Dashboard.
