Activities - season standings and Power Index

View an activity's leaderboard per-season. View win/loss records, ELO ranking, and download data.

Bound's association-level Standings give you a per-season view of how teams stack up. The Standings tab gives an overview of season records, with the ability to filter further by class, conference, and level (Varsity, JV). Standings are based on win/loss records and ELO-style rankings.

Standings

The Standings tab gives you a season leaderboard for your teams, further broken down into categories like home or away games. You can filter by class, conference, and level, and you can export the standings into a CSV file.

View Standings

  1. In your Association, go to Activities -> Standings.

  2. When you first open Standings, the page will have a conference already selected as the filter.

    1. To see a different conference, select the conference from the filter list.

  3. The schools displayed are tied to the filters on the Standings page. Filter by class, conference, or level:

Export and Download Standings

  1. In the Standings window, click Download Standings.

  2. A CSV file will automatically download when this button is clicked:

Power Index

While Standings provide an overview of stats, the Power Index is an ELO-style ranking calculated based on strength of results and the opponents on a team's schedule.

How it Works: The Power Index weighs who a team beats, not just how many teams. Each team gets a rank and an opponent-rating based on their schedule.

  1. In Standings, click the Power Index tab.

  2. The default view is an all-team overview of ELO rankings. Like Standings, you can filter by class, conference, and level.

Compare

The Compare tab takes the Power Index at two points in time, allowing you to see how each team's ranking has changed. You pick a start date and end date, and Bound pulls each team's ranking at both times, giving you a glance of how things have been shifting.

  1. In the Standings window, click the Compare tab.

  2. Once you select your start date, the page will automatically refresh. It may take a minute or two for the system to pull the data from your selected date range.

  3. Select an end date. The page will pull the ranking data, and you can view stat changes from your selected start date to your selected end date:
