Message ADs and Coaches by Activity

Learn how to choose ADs and head coaches by level, write your message, and send it from an activity.

You can message the ADs and head coaches for one activity from that activity's season. Recipients are grouped by level (Varsity, Junior Varsity, and so on), with ADs and head coaches listed separately.

To message ADs by member school instead, see Message ADs in Bulk.

Note: Messages sent from an activity appear in that activity's Messages list, not in Messages on your association Home.

Choose Recipients

  1. Click the Activities icon (trophy) in the left menu.

  2. Click the green arrow next to the activity you want to message.

  3. In the season menu, click Messages.

  4. Click Compose.

  5. Under Recipients, check each level whose ADs you want to message.

    • Click Show all to see every AD in that level.

  6. Scroll down and check each level whose head coaches you want to message.

    • NO COACH appears in place of a name when a school has no head coach listed for that level.

Write the Message

  1. Click Content, then enter a Subject and Body.

  2. Fill in any optional fields:

    • Action Link: Enter a Title and URL to include a link in the notification and email.

    • Main Image: Click Choose File to add an image to the notification, text, and email.

    • Allow Reply to your email: Checked by default. Uncheck it if you don't want recipients replying to your email.

  3. To add files, click Attachments, then click Upload Document or drag a file into it.

    • Attachments are included in emails only. Allowed files are images, pdf, mp3, doc, docx, heic, txt, csv, ev3, hyv, cl2, and hy3.

Send the Message

  1. Click Send, then review the Recipients and the message preview under Content.

  2. Click Send Message.

  3. A confirmation appears. The message can take a few minutes to show up in the list.

  4. Refresh the page. The message appears in the activity's Messages list with its subject and the date it was sent.
