Conference Commissioners: How to Copy Over a Schedule

This is an article on the step-by-step process for conference commissioners to copy over a schedule.

Step 1: Once logged in, click on the trophy icon labeled "Activities" on left-hand side.

Step 2: Select which sport you want to schedule.

Step 3: Next, click the "Scheduler" tab shown below.

Step 4: Here, click the scheduler drop-down in the upper right corner. You will have three options to choose from.

  • Generate Schedule allows you to build a new schedule.

  • Copy Schedule is copying a previously built schedule with options to advance a year or swap home & away. You can copy one schedule in a sport and use it for another.

  • View the Current Season allows you to save that schedule to be copied for another year or sport.

Generate Schedule

When you choose "Generate Schedule" you have the option to choose how many inner conference rounds. If you have NO sub-divisions (North/South) then choose this option. If you have a sub-division click the green "Add New Sub Conference" button and drag the teams into the appropriate spots.

Experimental Settings: Everything defaults to 1.0, meaning everything is equal. If you care more about one of these areas, add a HIGHER number value. For instance, if Home/Away Split is the most important, enter a 2.0 because it holds the most value.

When finished, click the green "Generate Schedules" button.

The system will then create 7 types of matchups to choose from with a team summary below the matchups.

Click the green "Save Schedule for Editing" button for the schedule you would like to edit.

You can now set round dates and times for each matchup. Click the dark blue button in the upper right to "Set Round Dates" in bulk. You can also manually adjust matchups, times, and dates. You can name and save the schedule to be copied later or for another sport.

Once you've reviewed the schedule, click the "Add Games to Schedule" button.

You can then set other levels as well if those competitions match the schedule you're working on. To complete this process, click the green "Generate Events" button!
