Create a Fundraiser

Follow these steps to create a fundraiser in minutes!

You can easily set up Fundraisers for your programs on Bound. Fundraisers carry your program's name and story, the goal you are working toward, photos, and easy ways to donate. Bound takes the payment, records every donation against the fundraiser, and routes the money to the account you choose.

Create a Fundraiser

  1. In your school dashboard, go to Programs.

  2. On the Programs page, click the Program button for your sport.

  3. Click Fundraising from the Program sidebar.

  4. Click the + Add Fundraising Store in the top right corner.

  5. Select the school year. The current school year is selected by default.

  6. Enter a Fundraiser Tagline. This should summarize your goal and encourage your supporters.

  7. Enter a Fundraiser Description. This section is for a full breakdown of the fundraiser and any additional details.

  8. Enter a Fundraiser Thank You Message that displays when a supporter donates to your fundraiser.

  9. Enter a Start Date and an End Date. These dates must fall within the selected school year for the fundraiser to function properly.

  10. Under Main Contact, enter a Title, and the Full Name and Email of the person you want to delegate the fundraiser to. Your information is populated by default, so if you are managing the fundraiser, leave it.

  11. Select a Payee account for funds to land, and the Stripe account.

  12. Click Create Store.

You now have more options on the Setup tab. You can add a logo, cover photo, and promotional video. These help engage supporters and generate excitement around the fundraiser. You can even add an image to the thank you message that shows after donations.

Edit a Fundraiser

With the additional Setup options, you can edit your fundraiser at any time and tweak it even further. Under Team and Contact Details, you can edit the main contact, add or remove Teams attached to this fundraiser, and change the Fund Allocation settings.
