How are damage deposits handled?

Boutique has partnered with Safely to protect the homes on all bookings within the United States. These homes don't have to worry about a damage deposit. For all other locations, hosts will collect and return the funds directly to the guest.

To manage this click on Properties in the header and select the listing you wish to edit. Scroll down on the sidebar menu (beneath your property photo on the left) to the “Policies and Rules” menu of your listing. Navigate to the “Damage Deposit” section and select your preference. If you have an amount you'd like to collect, enter it, as well as the method of return.
