Bundle Builder uses the Shopify bundle function which will “unwrap” the contents of the bundle after checkout using the updated API. This feature is designed to streamline the fulfillment process, whether you manage it yourself or use a third-party logistics provider (3PL) or fulfillment center.
What Changes for You
Order Display:
Once a customer places an order, the system will display the individual products from the bundle, each with its own SKU. These SKUs should already be mapped between your store and the fulfillment center.
Customer View:
In the customer's cart, they will see one item representing the entire bundle they ordered.
This item will include a custom code that represents the specific bundle. This code is used to ensure the customer is charged correctly.
Although customers will only see one item on the Cart page, once they proceed to the Checkout page, they will see the individual items they added to the bundle.
Important Note
Some merchants have requested the option to hide this custom code from the customer’s view. Currently, we are unable to provide this feature.
